FE Ford SOHC Conversion

The latest kit from Aardema Development is for the FE Ford 390-427 cubic inch engine.  Designed for the Ford fanatic that would like something a little different.

LS1 Chevrolet

The engine is currently under construction.  It will be the one and only LS1 in existence with OHC.  It is equipped with a Magna Supercharger for one of Pete’s customers.

Chevy HEMI

A customer came to us and wanted a Hemi Chevy with OHC.  The block is a tall deck big block with Arias aluminum Chevy Hemi heads and the Aardema OHC conversion.  This is a prototype and there are plans for a Blown Chrysler with an overhead cam which equates to more horsepower.

Norm Francis Street Rods

Norm has been building hot rods for over 30 years and runs a small block Ford in a ‘32 Roadster.  Norm is currently working on a ‘32 Roadster for Bonneville with Bob Rector’s 300ci Chevy engine, Pete’s OHC kit and Scott Goetz’ help.

Crager Model A

Steve Serr has reproduced the early Crager Head and built 32 heads.  Pete has built an overhead cam for this head, which is available through Steve.

Currently in mock up , a pair of late model Infinity 4 valve twin cam heads are bolted to a Aluminum Donovan small block. The Aardema team is anticipating dyno results similar to that of the Big block Porsche package: “low end torque”.
